For Kiiwi, a Long Beach-based app designed to connect consumers with local businesses in real time, this project encompassed full-scale brand strategy, art direction, and creative development for the company's debut social media campaign. The deliverables included a detailed social media campaign proposal outlining two distinct visual directions (the playful kiwi mascot approach and the clean iOS Emoji Equation system), a Long Beach-inspired color palette rooted in local geography, custom character design featuring a literal kiwi fruit in real-world scenarios, and apparel graphics for tote bags and sweatshirts. The strategic foundation emphasized Vibrant Realism, a purposeful counter-aesthetic to cold corporate minimalism, positioning Kiiwi as a warm, community-first brand fighting The Hidden Current of digital obscurity that pulls local businesses under. Though the project was paused due to internal workflow adjustments between leadership, the work produced demonstrates comprehensive brand thinking, strategic positioning, and scalable visual systems designed for long-term campaign execution.
