I had the opportunity to put together and edit an album release trailer for Paris Alexa's album, "2 Real." In the early stage of communication, Paris found some inspiration through Selena Gomez's lyric videos. Film burns and VHS effects were other ideas Paris wanted to have me incorporate. She also shared with me that she worked with muralist and illustrator, Stevie Shao, who drew the graphics for her album art. To make it more personalised, I thought it would benefit Paris to include Stevie's drawings into the trailer. I thought it would tie the album artwork and trailer together, so new listeners and fans would see the running theme. I animated Stevie's graphics in Photoshop, and imported them into After Effects to be inserted in the final result, shown below.
