Main Idea & Theme
The idea behind this piece was to play w/ not only a hot-and-cold concept, but also to represent a rocker w/ as hot and popular as he is now, to be held and thrown around in a cold crowd.
The "coldness" of the crowd with this colour-scheme, representing an admiration and love for an artist, only caring about him when they're in the limelight. The male character is red, orange, and yellow b/c of how hot he believes he thinks he is.
Unfortunately unbeknownst to him, his popularity, like many artists, becomes old news & he himself becomes a has-been. So, in this piece, it represents how he's not even realising how his time is coming to an end, and how many in the crowd will enjoy him for now, and forget about him when they all return to their normal lives.
