Main Idea & Theme
A t-shirt design commission for Sandor. He was really liking the paintings by Hiroshi Nagai of the beaches, and the skies, and wanted me to create that, but with a sign saying, "Welcome to Los Angeles." I never really draw cars, so to match a heavily-detailed car to that of Nagai's work, it was pretty relaxing. Color-scheme wise, the client wanted the color scheme to be yellows and purples, and so since these colors are complimentary, I made it even better by using split-complimentary colors to add more shadows and depth to the piece.
