Disco Toucan's DJ Sol Forreal’s new brand, a place to share all his sets and build a fresh, fun vibe. The look's inspired by classic references like Scarface’s “The World Is Yours” and the notorious "Flamingo Hotel" in Vegas, with bold, vintage lettering and a tropical twist. The toucan logo's a personal nod to DJ Sol’s dad, who made papier-mâché macaw birds, so the brand feels authentic and connected to family. Disco Toucan's about bringing together good music, good times, and a sense of community.
For the logo and motion graphics, the goal was to "make it pop." I used Displacement maps in After Effects to add texture and depth, making everything "pop" while keeping that vintage flavor. The result's a style that matches DJ Sol’s mission: making the dance floor a place for letting loose and connecting with others.
