A playful 3D ice plant character sculpted in my signature cartoon style and animated with a stop motion feel, created as a personal collaboration with an online friend. Inspired by the hardy ice plants along California cliffs that help protect drivers, this piece is a small reminder that gentle things can still be strong.
Ice plants in coastal California are planted along cliff edges to help stabilize the ground, and that idea of quiet protection became the heart of this character. I paired that inspiration with a message of reciprocity to keep the vibe warm, hopeful, and a little magical.
