During the global movie premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2, the agency launched a social media campaign encouraging artists to create custom illustrations of the series protagonist, Po. My goal was to create a piece that authentically captured the energy and spirit of the character.
The quality of the illustration successfully caught the attention of the internal team at Dreamworks. The studio formally requested permission to feature my specific artwork, organically selecting it to be shared across their official social media channels to help promote the theatrical release. This project stands as a wonderful example of how passionate, character driven illustration can directly engage major entertainment studios and resonate with a global fanbase.
