A collaboration I got to work on with Major League Baseball, for YouTube, to celebrate Women’s History Month. This piece was also created to celebrate M.L.B.'s new series, Undeniable. I was asked to create cover art that would be both appropriate to share on Youtube's family-friendly social channel, YouTube for Families and one that represents Women's History Month. As an avid fan of baseball and baseball history, I jumped at the opportunity as a woman of color to design something this awesome! I found a nice screenshot, where I followed through in drawing on top of the piece, adding and erasing some minor details to Mamie's glove and face, and adjusted the lighting to produce the final result.
